Garden of Eden Recreated in Nessies @Nagaon

Garden of Eden Recreated in Nessies @Nagaon

Part of my trip to India with a family of 7 members was to find a place near Mumbai where I could unwind after my hectic 2 weeks of running around in Kerala and Mumbai. Fortunately a close friend recommended a village called Nagaon where this beautiful house Nessies is nestled in the middle of farms and forest which will remove me from my everyday bustling busy world and put me in a world of peace and tranquility.

This was TRUE !!! I was lost in everything this house had to offer in terms of comfortable living spaces, the serene environment,  and the many vegetables and plants growing all inside the property.  The people who service this house are so loving as if we are their long lost family and they take it as an obligation upon themselves to make our every moment enjoyable and comfortable. Very touching !!!

There was no boring moment with so much to see around Nagaon, like the beaches and fort of Korle and Shivaji's Khanderi fort in the waters off Thal. Alibaug is another town to visit and explore its rich culture, its diverse people and the many markets where they sell all kinds of household wares. Visited Revdanda which is also nearby town.

On the 2nd night we were treated to a scrumptious meal in a restaurant nearby which included the delicious Sol Cudy and a Paplate (Pomfret) Thali. My mouth has started watering already talking about it.

On the 3rd day while leaving we took the opportunity to visit the village of Navgaon where there is an ancestral landmark which I had the good fortune to visit in this lifetime.

Wish we had planned more days to do some more explorations of the unexplored lands and still hidden jewels, which stands apart from the standard tourist offerings that exist around Mumbai. Looking forward to my next visit.

TEN STARS out of TEN to this property and surely recommend to those who are truly looking for something different without sacrificing the expected conveniences and luxury among the best places to stay in Nagaon.
