All good stuff about Flossing, an essential habit to maintain healthy gums and teeth, as explained by a professional dentist, Dr. Pearl Jhirad (BDS). Information that we learn in theory, but need confirmation and practical application which validates such beliefs.

"Flossing is extremely essential so if one can incorporate flossing in their daily dental hygiene routine, nothing like it. So either threads or water flosser will work. Flossing is important but is hard to remember as people tend to forget. So basically instilling the awareness amongst people about it's importance of usage is more essential than the mode of usage or technique!"
"Because when people will start flossing like brushing regularly, they'll figure out what is better for them, threads or water flosser. Like how people now use electronic toothbrushes! So now people explore options because they regularly brush. So that's important for flossing too."
"Using conventional flossing method like threads need good dexterity for its effectiveness so water flosser has an upper hand in that case. But obviously the cons are that it's expensive and messy to use so ultimately it all depends on personal preferences."
Standard Flossing Devices
The Convenient Water Flossers
These flossers are always ready to use when you are in the bathroom or in the shower. This idea struck me when I used to stand with my mouth open in front of the shower head jet and allowed the water to clean my mouth just like a water flosser.
