STARTING A CAMPAIGN AGAINST
DO-NOT-REPLY EMAILS

I am up to my neck with those emails that come with a DO-NOT-REPLY return address and there is no way to reply to them even if you have a legitimate need to provide input to fight a case !!!

This illicit practice has to be boycotted and rejected. I will do so by putting a filter on all emails that have an email address DO-NOT-REPLY "and its many variants. It is like not accepting any spam calls from people who dont want to hear back from you.

A example email follows for one such recent communication;

- What is the point of sending emails with a return address of :  donotreply@xxxxx.com ?

It seems XXXX management does not want to hear back from the homeowners to whom they provide service. This has to be addressed by XXXX managers who decide to make community managers not accessible to the homeowners directly.

1. What Is a No-Reply Email (And Why You Should Never Use Them)

Every time you send an email from "noreply@yourcompany.com," you're basically telling recipients: "We don't want to hear from you." It's the email equivalent of hanging up on customers who call with questions.

2. Are no-reply emails legal?

They are legal, but aren't compliant

As a rule, customers must be able to request information about the data a company has collected from them according to GDPR laws. If you're using a no-reply email for your email marketing campaign or any other purpose, you're not giving customers a way to reply to you.
