GOOGLE PHOTOS CANNOT PERFORM A SIMPLE TASK

GOOGLE PHOTOS CANNOT PERFORM THE SIMPLE TASK OF DELETING FILES on my Android phone that have already been backed up on Google photos. 👎☹️

There is 385 GB that can be deleted, but this app sat at only 10% complete for entire night for 7 hours after it started to do this task. 

This is just one problem amongst many others experiences in6 it's Android app version that demonstrates it's poor quality and zero attention to testing 👎😡

Just wasted a lot of my time as it does not get the job done after several attempts and but I  have to use more traditional methods to accomplish this important simplest task at hand that blocks me regards is switching to a new phone. 

To give some credit the desktop version of Google photos is far much better and  reliable.
