YOUTUBE AUTO PREFERENTIAL RANDOMNESS

Being a power user of YouTube has made me very conversant with its many features and nuances. One such feature that can be beneficial is the Auto Play option that provides a continues playback of videos based on a internal random selection created by the YouTube algorithm.

I am proposing the idea to provide a user based preferential feature to control how the randomness of selecting the next videos to play will work.

During the search and setting Random playback ON, the user should be provided options how they would like the randomness to work.  I call it Preferential Randomness.

This new feature should allow the use to set the randomness selection to user.

Random Playback Options:

- YouTube default

- Related Videos

- New Videos

- Popular Videos (based on likes)

And such choice options that will cater to the likes and preferences of the user.

It will allow a happier viewing experience and  keep the consumer connected to the YouTube platform.

The same options as provide in the Search Filters can be provided for the Random selection criteria;
